We’re going on a bear hunt. We’re going to catch a big one. Will you come too?

For thirty years, readers have been swishy-swashying and splash-sploshing through this award-winning favourite.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of this iconic children’s story we will be hosting our very own ‘Bear Hunt’ in Ashton Park from 11am – 1pm on Sunday 9th June.

Children will be able to follow the clues in our special treasure hunt and discover ‘Where Is The Bear’ as they make their way around our hidden trail to unearth ten famous bears dotted around the park.

The famous bear himself will be there to help kitted out in the full official costume which has been kindly loaned to us by the publishers for the event.

Once they have found all 10 bears they can enjoy a special picnic and enjoy the story, along with some other family favourites as out trained storytellers read the tales at regular intervals throughout the event.

The ticket price includes the hunt, a small prize, certificate, picnic lunch and storytelling

Tickets are available from The Wro in West Kirby or Linghams Book Store in Heswall.
